Job Description & Responsibilities
- Develop detailed mechanics designs and layouts using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Prepare and review technical documents, including drawings, specifications, and project reports.
- Conduct load calculations, energy modeling, and system sizing to ensure optimal performance of mechanical systems.
- Coordinate with architectural, electrical, and structural engineers to integrate mechanical designs within the overall building system.
- Perform quality control checks on mechanics designs and documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of bills of quantities (BOQ) and tender documentation.
- Provide technical support and expertise to the project team during the design and construction phases.
- Ensure that all mechanics designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Participate in project coordination meetings and provide technical input as needed.
- Create and manage detailed mechanical BIM models using Revit or other BIM software.
- Produce mechanical construction documents, schedules, and specifications.
- Engage and coordinate in meetings and collaborate with project teams
- Ensures that all site works are done according to all applicable quality standards.
- Preparation of as-built drawings.
- Preparation of daily reports and any other site documentation.
- Monitor the works of the mechanical subcontractors.
